Mesh Officially Launches

Mesh, the world’s first email security platform built specifically for managed service providers, launched its European-based service today.

Mesh CEO Brian Byrne said:

“It’s a very proud day for the entire team. Before starting Mesh over a year ago, we looked at the industry as a whole and what we saw was surprising - a saturated, highly-commoditised market, where most providers predate managed services, and none of whom seemed to address a fundamental problem for managed service providers - genuine multi-tenancy.

The vision for Mesh became clearer after a conversation with the owner of an MSP. He told me that over the course of 2 days, 5 end-users they supported were hit with the same phishing scam - and apart from submitting it each time to their vendor, they could do very little about it. It highlighted the limitation of existing platforms - when they missed a detection, the MSP had zero visibility over the tenancy as a whole - so potentially lots more users could receive the same/similar attack and they wouldn’t know about it.

It then became our mission to redefine how MSPs manage email security for their client base. We knew with a centralised, holistic approach, we could empower MSPs to more efficiently protect their clients.

The early adopters have given us tremendous feedback so far. I genuinely believe that what we have launched today will change how managed service providers think about email security, but this is only the beginning.

Mesh will launch its US service later this month and it’s API-based service (Mesh 365) later this year.
